Chancellor to new students: Despite differences, ‘you now share a common identity as Badgers’
UW–Madison Chancellor Rebecca Blank welcomed thousands of freshmen and transfer students to campus Tuesday by encouraging them to get to know each other and themselves better.

Meet the Class of 2020
This fall, the University of Wisconsin–Madison welcomed 6,430 newly enrolled freshman, up from 6,270 last year. Of those students, 3,671 come from Wisconsin, up from 3,617 last year.
