Turnout higher in Classified Staff Congress election
June 9, 2015More than 27 percent of the classified staff eligible responded to the call to return ballots in the election for Classified Staff Congress. This marks a five percent increase in participation since last year.

April 30, 2015In the second election ever for the Classified Staff Congress, the ballot has been finalized and permanent members of the classified staff will receive them at their home addresses next week. They will have until May 25 to get them postmarked and returned.
New University Staff grievances policy takes effect July 1
March 19, 2015On July 1, 2015, UW–Madison’s Classified Staff employee designation will change to University Staff. Chapter 230 of the Wisconsin Statutes, which applies to state employee relations and personnel, will no longer govern these areas; they will be handled exclusively by UW–Madison.
